Que Sera, Sera (the pursuit of a ‘human target’)

Posted on

God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” Numbers 23:18-20

“When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi.”
Matthew 2:15-17

In the directly above verse, we see how a deranged, self-obsessed and demon-posessed King heartlessly ordered the massacre of thousands (perhaps 100’s of thousands) of innocent children from two years of age and under. They were babies, barely weaned; how much of a threat could they possible have been to a reigning king. And even if they were threats, by the time they came of age to pose in that position he should have been dead of old age or eaten alive by maggots (which thank God did happen). This blog-story though not specific, I promise: it so familiar and personal.

[ The Magi Visit the Messiah ] “After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem”
Matthew 2:1-3

After Jesus had been born, the ‘Magi’ (magicians), star-gazers or often called ‘wise-men’ came from the east to pay a worthy homage to the child (that would be Saviour and King). How did they know? And most importantly, how accurate were they in their findings and knowledge? We have to understand that since there is only one known (and functioning) physical world, there is also a spiritual world. This is where God and His Holy Trinity dwells; howbeit in an unapproachable and Holy realm. The angels, Satan and demons also dwell in the spirit world. Most people including professing Christians, would like to deny the existence of a spirit world and aspire to ignore it. That would be the perfect example of the ‘ostrich syndrome’. Just because your head is buried in the sand; there-by blocking your vision of us, does not mean we do not see your widely spread and colorfully feathered tail! Denial never validates, it just provides a temporary state of delirium for the host subject to revel in. Alright, back to the ancient east we go, before I take off on a ‘Psychological Analysis’.

In the ‘spirit’ world, there is a constant and steady flow of information and direction. Most times those information are legally or illegally carried through, into our physical world. It is legal when the Ultimate Source and provider God Himself speaks to His Prophets, through His word, dreams and visions, and divinely inspired revelations. It is absolutely illegal, when witches, wizards, sooth-sayers and demon-posessed black magic priests and priestesses, astrologers etc. tap into the spirit world for information. One of our first example will be none other than the king of dis-obedience himself – Saul: “He inquired of the LORD, but the LORD did not answer him by dreams or Urim or prophets. Saul then said to his attendants, ‘Find me a woman who is a medium, so I may go and inquire of her’.” 1 Samuel 28:6-8  He tried to inquire of the Lord to satisfy his flesh and cover his sin; therefore God did not respond. He (God) reserves the right to divulge information or not to divulge, as he deems necessary and substantial especially when it pleases him. That is why He said, ‘the just live by faith…’, the faith of waiting on Him to have His way and not trying to steal information (through mediums, witchcraft and what have you) with an intent to abort His divinely set plan (oh the nerve of man!). And subsequently, if you are not living in the faith of Him having His way and carrying out HIS WILL, then it behooves you to know now that you are not pleasing Him. “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:5-7  “Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.” Habakkuk 2:4  So when God does not respond; Saul takes matters into his own hands. We can definitely see his very progressive downward-spiral after these events.

Another person who dared to take an abominable sneak preview through a strange and idol-worshipping medium was Balak. In the book of Numbers, as the weary (yet divinely favored) Israelites journeyed, they came to their lodging reservation in the plains of Moab. Don’t forget that God was the One leading them; so if they were to dwell in enemy territory for a season, then so be it. But the enemy in question Moab (another descendant of an incestuosly-spiked disobedience), panicked when they saw the Israelites sprawled in their country-side backyard so to speak. They knew the Israelites to be divinely protected by ‘YAHWEH’ himself, but they still attempted to annihilate them! They were threatened for their positions, titles, gifts (which really are not), spouses, ministry and more importantly a desire to launch into a life-style of gouging and make belief, that was never in the original Master-plan. So based on their perceived threat, they informed the elders and the King of Moab as they skillfully portrayed the ‘victim’ role. Their mantra was simply this: we know these people are highly favored by God, they are incredibly gifted and we foresee a future where they will be used by God Himself to punish us for our wicked, idolatrous and abominable deeds. literally, if we do not take them out now; they will constantly stand as a beacon of conviction for us (breaking our stiff-neck), and a beacon of hope for others that we have and still intend to oppress. ‘The Moabites said to the elders of Midian, “This horde is going to lick up everything around us, as an ox licks up the grass of the field… The elders of Moab and Midian left, taking with them the fee for divination. When they came to Balaam, they told him what Balak had said.” Numbers 22:2-8 Uneasy and uncomforted (the people of Moab and Midian), they sent for a Prophet named Balaam to come and curse the seemingly dangerous and unsuspecting dwellers who were oblivious to the hatred and jealousy projected towards them.

As we all know, Balaam was not able to curse them. After an encounter with the Almighty; where a donkey spoke and his foot was crushed, Balaam saw the need to re-align and relocate (see blog: Re-align, Relocate and Re-group). He set out to bless the still oblivious beloved of the Lord (Israel). After Balaam settled into Jehovah’s camp and hung his breeches to dry, God put a word in his mouth and sent him back to Balak. Now incase you are not feeling it yet, this is God at war on behalf of His beloved… Allow me as I shout Hallelujah!!! What is even more unnerving, aggravating and irksome, is that Balak the idol and devil worshipper; employed the name of God in his evil and God-forsaken quest! Can you believe the nerve…? “[ Balaam’s Third Message ] Then Balak said to Balaam, “Come, let me take you to another place. Perhaps it will please God to let you curse them for me from there.” Numbers 23:26-28 To think that he was implying an alliance with God, when the whole time he was going against GOD HIMSELF! Here is how it all went and finally settled down.

” So he went back to him and found him standing beside his offering, with all the Moabite officials. 7Then Balaam spoke his message:

   “Balak brought me from Aram,
the king of Moab from the eastern mountains.
‘Come,’ he said, ‘curse Jacob for me;
   come, denounce Israel.’
8 How can I curse
those whom God has not cursed?
How can I denounce
those whom the LORD has not denounced?
9 From the rocky peaks I see them,
from the heights I view them.
I see a people who live apart
and do not consider themselves one of the nations.
10 Who can count the dust of Jacob
or number even a fourth of Israel?
Let me die the death of the righteous,
and may my final end be like theirs!”

11Balak said to Balaam, “What have you done to me? I brought you to curse my enemies, but you have done nothing but bless them!”

12He answered, “Must I not speak what the LORD puts in my mouth?” Numbers 23:6-12 (NIV)

Is that not awesome; our sovereign God allowed the enemy to foolishly and blindly attempt the impossible. The impossibility of cursing and defiling the Lord’s anointed one (this anointing has nothing to do with a title or position), or thwarting the purposes and plans of the Most High for a highly favored life. And all the while confidently and ceremoniously playing the victim that was gifted by God. The Bible (Holy word of God) calls them ‘angels of light’, yet they are filled with utmost darkness. White-washed sepulchres, tools of demonic pleasure.

So God Almighty indulged His prophets in what was to come (A Messiah would be born), “And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;” Genesis 18:16-18  He did not give the whole picture or sordid details. They were to faithfully wait for the vision to unfold layer after layer after layer. “3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3  The powers and principalities in high places knew that the coming Messiah was the one through whom mankind would be equipped to crush his head and have the choice of not dining with him, come judgement day. He just did not know from where or how it would happen. So when he got whiff of the once sighted ‘star of wonder’ showing up again, he knew that meant the time was near. So he got desperately anxious to say the least and slaughtered every male child two years and below…

The devil does not and will never see the whole picture or fit in all the puzzle before it is revealed; but he works desperately, relentlessly and diligently to come up with possible scenarios that he can if not destroy then delay. God allows this for two known reasons: one he is the devil for a reason and does have a season alloted him to perform. Two: God wants to teach us to wise-up and be just as diligent in protecting our promises. And as He ‘teaches our hands to war’, we gain indispensable knowledge lest we deteriorate and waste away. “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. ‘Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests;” Hosea 4:6   “With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors, but through knowledge the righteous escape.”  Proverbs 11:8-10

Here is the greatest scenario of all time; they hear through the prophets and the spying mediums that Jesus is indeed the Christ and would be the ‘Way to Redemption’. So they fight hard to dis-credit Him among the religious, cast him aside and away from them, (“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone;”) Mark 12:9-11, accuse him falsely and then plan their final attack: betrayal to crucifixion. They are feeling so good… they succeeded after all these years to prevent the plan or so they think. They launch forward and nailed that ‘carpenter’… but wait a pair of minutes, oops! That was the plan: the price could only be paid on the cross through crucifixion. May the hallelujahs roll please. Ours is an Awesome Indescribable and Mighty God!!!

Yeah the seers did snoop out some snippets from my ‘5D heavenly vision and promised life’, but in their evil saturated motives and relentless strikes; God marched in from the back stage and sealed the deal. I am besides myself in jubilation. Feel free to join me – if my God is your God that is…

Dead or Stronger

Posted on

It is often said, “that whatever doesn’t kill me makes me stronger”.
Yeah, but I still don’t like to deal with or entertain things that seem like they could kill me. I like to play it safe and simple with a touch of drama every now and then of course.  But somehow the killer hurricane finds me.  And every time I think, this has got to be it; I am dead now. As the boisterous wind blows and my boat threatens to capsize.  As I am tossed about like a rag doll,  I can only cry God help me!

There are a lot of possibilities of what might happen, but let us look at these three; The wind does blow the boat over and I end up in the sea or I am tossed so high in the air that I dangle of a tree branch, with the potential of … ending up in the sea. Or the third option, the wind stops and my boat stills while I am in the sea. Either way, if I emerge alive (which I already did), then I am the stronger for it.

Sometimes the storm that so easily threatens us, was sent by God himself. It may have come to purge.purify or perfect His will in our lives.  He is the God that sits on the flood and controls it, according to scripture (God’s holy word). Example Psalm 107:29 (NIV) says “He stilled the storm to a whisper; the wave of the sea was hushed.”  That means this God I serve said to all your issues at the appointed time to “Shut up”!  And when He deems it time, all he has to do is say the word and the once towering and hovering monster wave cowers.  Now I don’t know about you but that sure sounds like power to me.  Why should I waste my time on a god that expects me to do everything for him and then worship him too. Please…

No I can only worship an Entity that wields this kind of power (“You rule over the surging sea; when its waves mount up, you still them” Psalm 89:9 (NIV)).  And not only is He powerful, He says He loves me.  That is sweet and super!

Do not fear the threatening storm that encompasses your weak vessel for He has said;

“Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10)

Seriously; He is God indeed!

Answered Prayers?…

Posted on

Grace and peace dear reader, glad to have you on board.  hope you were blessed by our maiden publication.   Let’s keep praying for that family.

I had something else in mind to share with you today, but God seems to keep me on the path of reminiscence with stuff I would rather not deal with.  But here goes.

As I woke this morning and glared at the cross I had tried to dismantle the day before, so I did not have to carry it again today. (please don’t judge me for trying to cut corners)  Luke 9:23 “Then He (Jesus) said to them if anyone desires to come after me, let Him deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow me.”  I wondered how much longer I had to deal with this particular cross, it was irritating me and I was getting bored with it.  That wasn’t the only cross I was carrying mind you, it was just a very annoying and reoccurring one.  You know like the roach you thought you had drowned in the kitchen sink, and then 8 minutes later it crawls out again.  Then you are like Lord, for what reason did you make roaches?

Anyway, as I pondered my lot and arranged my crosses so I could pick them up in the order they were received.  The Lord dropped a thought in my mind.  Could these daily irritants be the boundary God has set for me, to keep me from marching full throttle into a sin filled life style?  I thought about the (painful) denying my self part, having to say no to my good plans that were not God plans.  Fleeing like an Olympic Sprint medalist from temptation and of course constantly by the grace of God resisting and warding of the devil. (Who happens to enjoy stalking me all the time!)   Phew! does the weary ever catch a break?  Yes, I guess when they get to heaven.

I once had a friend whom I loved dearly in the Lord, I was especially taken by their commitment to raise the banner of truth and glorify God in all they did.  They also had very pressing issues that plagued their very life daily.  I willingly and joyfully stood in the gap of prayer for them.  If they had a battle I would stand with them or even for them and fight.  so committed was I in praying for my friend that I neglected my own ‘vineyard’ (Song of Solomon 1:6).

A big weakness I have, I am too real and loyal in a fake and swindling society.  Then my friend got a break, and completely turned on me.  Even in the issues we agreed on as God birthed.  To say I was shocked is an understatement, but then again betrayal seems to be the rule of the day these days.  Every time you turn around, Judas has sold Jesus for another 30 pieces of silver.  As I went lamenting to the Lord, He simply reminded me that He had answered my prayer for that former friend.  In my fervent intercession, I completely wiped out any obstacle to pride in their life and probably with the help and sympathy of other saints unknowingly created a monster.  If they had a perceived enemy, I would work the grave shift on my knees.  If I heard a negative word about them, I would hold a seminar to clear their name.  (Psalm 55:12-14)

So do I still have a problem picking up some cross every now and then?  Absolutely not.  I want to finish this race well by God’s grace.  It’s like Jacob’s limp, I am reminded who is in control everyday and the fact that we will all reap what we sow.  My reward is not dependent on that friend and what they do, my reward is dependent on God.  It is okay if I ere’ for being just and true.

So much for answered prayers, huh.  Praise God and Hallelujah anyhow!
